Civic Engagement Team Vision & Long-Term Goal:
All Arizonans are informed, able, and empowered to actively engage in our democracy at all levels. Our goal is to to increase voter turnout by a set percentage and meet a to-be-determined metric of engagement in democracy other than voting. Each of our team’s work ladder up to this vision and long-term goal.

Public Policy Engagement
Increase the number of Arizonans who are informed and equipped to engage with public policy decision-making and elections.
Our Team developed a toolkit and shared information and resources on ballot propositions for the last voting cycle. In particular, our Team will be discussing the differences between two propositions related to primaries and how future Arizonans will vote.
Civic Discourse
Bring Arizonans together to dialogue and build trust across lines of potential difference in ways that help them feel more informed, able, and/or empowered to engage in democracy at a level that feels personally relevant.
Our Team created the Dinner & Dialogue series to bring Arizonans together across lines of difference to talk about our state’s most pressing issues and explore ways to move forward—together. In a time of deep division, these moderated conversations will encourage open, productive dialogue that is inclusive, builds understanding and inspires action.
